So, I'l do it.

This was intended to be MES's post but apparently he didn't pick up on my hint from the previous post :) Anyhoo - MES had a great day - solid swim, excellent bike and followed it up with a great run. The extra boost from our buddy Rick was just what MES needed to avoid being chick'd on the run. He finished in 2:21 and some change and placed 27th among 286 in his age group. Our good friend Rick came down from MN to race at SA's and took some some hardware finishing first in his age group. While it was frustrating to be side-lined (injury) from the race, I had a great time spectating. We celebrated a successful day with a heaping bowl of Great Harvest Bread's granola. If you've never tried it you really, really should. Just beware that it's terribly addictive.
