The Augusta 70.3 came and went in a flash. MES and I both had incredible days. MES was only 22 seconds off his stretch goal (interpret - met goal, awesome day) and finished in 4:50:22. I also managed to squeeze out a personal best (by 8+ minutes) with a finish time of 5:12:03. Woo hoo! And to celebrate? A fabulous dinner at Bee's Knees (highly recommended if you ever find yourself Augusta) and a slice of red velet cake the size of my head. Mmmm....
